shipping small animals
how do you feel about breeders shipping animals.
as some of you know i havent had any luck with healthy mice in my whole life. the only breeders i can find are very very far away. and i am considering buying from a breeder who will ship to me.
how do you feel about this?
dont breeders ship to the petstores also? is it really that bad?

I don't think it's bad. I mean, it's not like they ship animals through regular mail or anything, they take great precautions and whatnot. Just make sure to research it throughly.

They ship birds all the time. I would consider the same thing with my mice, if mine didnt have the luck of living long lives- its soo hard loving something and having to part with it shortly.
Let me know how that goes.

yeah after these mice pass on i am gonna get some long hair shipped to me.
i used to have a sliver long hair and a calico long haired mouse, but i was lucky enough to find them at the petstore.
or maybe even get a long haired, and a hairless shipped to me.

What I meant was, what breeder are you using, becasue I was also interested in getting some animals shipped to me in the future and it's hard for me to find a good breeder.

zebra mice! wow, those are soo hard to find, and there is little info that I could ever find about them. Do you know of any good web sites that have info on them?
