I found them online awhile back while doing searches on sugar gliders. I really wanted a pair of sugar gliders, and did research on them for months. However, they are illegal to own in MA where I currently live so I was thinking of maybe getting a pair when I graduate and move out of the state.
But I just found out from Mass Fish and Wildlife that while sugar gliders are illegal, Southern flying squirrels are not.
I need to do a ton more research before even considering one, but I was just curous if anyone else had any? What are they like as pets? Does anyone know of any breeders in MA? I would love to go visit a breeder and see what they're like, but the only breeders I could find online lived in Texas.
Any additional information would be awesome...breeders, websites, anything, because like I said, I'm just starting my research.
