has anyone here ever owned them, if so can we see some pics
i hear that they are nice to look at, but cannot be tamed well....is that true?

I don't have them but want a pair. I just can't find them anywhere  . They are supposed to be skittish but I don't know how true that is.
They are very cool, though! Are you thinking of getting some?

I had a pair for a week. they were so wild
the first time i cleaned the cage i open up the latch and both of them ran wildly out never to be seen again
they are very very very crazy wild (the ones i had anyway)

from what I remember, zebra mice are rather solitary. They can get along with domestic mice if raised together, but two zebras together usually ends in bloodshed.

I like zebra mice and would like some in the future.However you cannot get them here,so prolly will be years before I get some.

check that site i posted, they cater to canada, they breed exotics to keep the population going! it's neat, they also have to tiny opposums, lemmings, it's cool!

my neighbor acutally had a pair.. they were as mean as idk.. they would run when u tryed to pick them up, 1 actually would bite.
