Not really anything you can do. The egg is compromised, and probably chilled. The embryo is most likely deceased.

If you had gotten one just out of the nest, still warm and undamaged, it might be possible to finish the incubation. That's pretty difficult without an incubator or brood hen.

In your case, for all practical purposes, the matter was decided before you entered the picture. Sorry...

re

if it's partially cracked that means it was kicked out of nest by parents due to it eaither being unfertile or fetus dieing and it becoming roten . They most likely threw i t out of nest so the other egg doesn't die due to the one u found going rotten.

one way to tell if you have a fertile egg is to view it while holding a flashlight under the egg in an darkened room. If there is a small dark area at one end of egg it was probably
fertile at one time. Since there is a crack in the egg, bacteria has already gotten inside.
The biggest "killer" to unhatched eggs is bacteria. Good luck!

Thank you all anyway, but after keeping it warm and cozy for 2 months, the egg turned out to be completely empty. :-(
