10 year old Lab' sickness and diarrhoea

We have a 10 year old Labrador dog called "Roger" His digestion is not what it used to be and is now getting diarrhoea and sometimes vomits for no real reason. He eats his one daily meal of vacuumed packed fresh meat (no “e” numbers, No colours and GMO free) and two handfuls of biscuits very slowly (as a pup it was wolfed down) so we switched to a bowl of rice and half the usual meat ration. He seems a bit better on this but his stools are still loose and occasionally he will involuntary squat and do a semi liquid stool. I don’t know if he is getting lazy with old age or what. He is other wise in good order. Good coat, bright eyes and enjoys his walks. He has been wormed so its not that. This post is to ask for typical diets for older male dogs which are easy to digest and any other suggestions that you have.
Thank you

Ps. He was sired by an American dog, we suspect similar to the pointing Labs in the Cascades in Washington state. USA.

Older dogs do tend to have age related issues. This could be one of them. I would first recommend taking him to the vet and testing to be sure there is no illness you can't see. Labs are so full of life they often don't show you they are ill.

Beyond that... since you feed natural food I would try increasing the rice.
