My
leopard gecko has recently gotten this tiny brown bump at the end of one of her toes. I thought it was a piece of dirt at first, so I ignored it, but when it stayed on her, I started to get worried. She sheds well, but sometimes a piece of skin gets stuck on her toes. The piece of skin usually comes off by itself, but that particular toe has had a piece of shed skin on it for a long time. I think that she may have an infection because the piece of skin has stayed there for so long. I have tried in the past to gently peel if off, but she struggles too much. I heard that if you let lizards wade in warm water, the skin will come off but that didn't work for me. She doesn't appear to be in pain. She is happy and well-fed and eats well too. But she's going to be shedding again soon and I want to get rid of that bump. Somebody please help me! I'm afraid she'll die!

This is my first reptile pet ever and I've never encountered this problem before.
If information is required to help identify the problem, she is an adult female about a year and a half old. I got her in September 2006 when she was about 4 months old. She is standard color morph (Yellow + spots)
Please!!
