Help!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know what I could feed tiny baby birds? One of the trees in our pasture fell down and there was a nest inside of it that we found while removing it. There was 4 baby birds in it and I'm wondering what I should do with them. They have feathers, but don't look ready to be on their own yet, maybe a week or so... Anyone got any advice?

Eeek!!! Wow - Nicole, I wish I could tell you exactly what to do!! If they are feathered the parents may be bringing them worms and bugs?? Gads... I wish I knew...

Good Luck! I am sure someone with experience will come along shortly.

Is there a Wildlife Rehab Center you could call to come take them? Or maybe they can advise you on what to do?

Put the birds in a box with air holes, a towel/blanket, and leave them alone. The less human contact the better.

Call your nearest ER vet and ask them for a rehabber's number.

I called my vet & he said the closest wildlife rehabilitation place is 3 hours away. But he gave me the # to another vet (in the next town) that takes in wild birds. So I called that vet & he gave me his address & I'm getting ready to leave right now... Thanks guys

Do you know what kind of birds they were? What did they look like? My family has been rehabilitating wildlife for many years.

I recently found a baby sparrow, actually my cat did and it didn't even have all of its down or feathers. I put it in a box with a towel covering it and also a heat light, not to warm though. The towel keeps the bird from drying out. I called different animal rescues and didn't get anyone to take it, so I did the next best thing and called a pet store who specialised in birds and they told me to feed it baby bird food with a dropper. It has all of its wings and down now but it thinks I'm its mom now, so I went and got a cage and a female finch and put it in with her and now she is the mother, sort of (I still have to feed it with a dropper). good luck.
