Advice please! I was walking outside a little while ago when I heard a noise like a crying cat. I investigated the source and it was this ledge planter thing with bushes in it about 4-5 feet off the ground in a house near my own (which is currently unoccupied.) I looked inside and there was a tiny kitten in there, crying loudly! I lifted the kitten up and his nose and mouth were covered with dirt. It's pretty cold outside today... I took him home and warmed him up with a
heating pad.
The problem is he keeps crying and I tried to give him milk but he would not take it...
To give a little more background info, I am actually petsitting for ANOTHER orphan kitten for a friend of mine who works at a shelter and was fostering him... He is about 4 weeks old. Because of this I have kitten milk replacer and an extra bottle. I isolated the kitten I just found away from the other orphan...
So I tried to give this kitten I just found KMR from my extra (unused) bottle, but he refused it. I tried stimulating him to evacuate but he did not do so. He keeps crying but won't take KMR from a bottle or a small feeding syringe. Actually he just stopped crying and fell asleep...
I am really concerned because I have to go to class in a few minutes and I don't know what to do!
