Help My Babies...

As im sure some of you know my Gerbil had babies 7 days ago.. well i've been checking on them, making sure they are still moving and everything.. but not closely because they were so buried in the nest and i didn't want to disturb them to much just yet since even the mother was probably still adjusting to her cage a little bit (she had babies 3 days after i got her) .. well last night i looked closer and one of the babies is still the same size as when it was born! It is only 1/2 the size of the other baby (the other baby grew).. what should i do? what is dori doing wrong? (if anything) .. please help! Im afraid he/she might die...

It is not unusual for there to be a runt in the litter, don't disturb the babies or mom will eat them. You can give mom small pieces of carrot or broccoli.
