Hina Bunny needs help-hind leg is limp

we awoke yesterday to find that hina's left rear leg was limp, it still is. We don't know if she had a stroke or dislocated her hip or what. Any and all suggestions are welcome, we have NO VET on our island. Thanks,

Surely someone can direct you to a nearby vet, then. Try calling the clinic phone number, there is often a recording directing clients to an area vet who is close in that case.

In the meantime, limit your bunny's activity, remove anything it could jump onto or jump from, and ensure it's eating/drinking.

Tuesday we were able to take Hina to a new vet on Maui. We left Molokai on the ferry at 5:30am, borrowed a truck, drove to Pukalani and found the vet. SHE HAS A BROKEN LEG!

We decided along with the vet she was too old to for go surgery, so he taped her leg to her body and we're praying it heals up on it's own. We've boosted her tummy with Pro-Bac and so she seems much better. I think she's just happy we didn't "put her down" like we were thinking we might have to.
