Italian Wheeks is on a distinguished road

Is he hurt or what?

Vinny my piggy is walking funny. He's dragging his back legs and kinda rolling. He just lays around. This started last night about 8:30. I moved him to the living room in the small cage so I could be closer to him and keep an eye on him at night. He didn't move the entire night. I did just get him to eat some parsley but other then that there is noi eating or drinking.
What is going on with him

Get him into the vet. How old is Vinny? He could have injured himself somehow (nerve or fracture), or calcium deficiency can cause paralysis too. He also could have had a stroke, and from what I am reading paralysis from strokes is temporary. Only a cavy knowledgeable vet can tell you what is going on.

Have some x-rays taken to make sure it is not an obvious injury and go from there.

I agree that a vet would be a good idea for this one. Make sure he's eating and eliminating in the meantime, keep a good watch on him.

Well he is eating better now and sorta moving around better too. I called around to get in him some where and had no luck. I can get him checked out tomorrow and will do that. He's about 2 1/2 - 3 yrs old, I'm hoping it's nothing serious.
He has been making poos and peeing so I feel alot better about that. He seems very comfortable. I'm gonna get him so x-tra calcium now and see if that helps
But I'll still take him in to get checked out just to be on the safe side. I was so worried that he was going to die over the weekend, and I would have felt so guilty because I couldn't get him to a vet.
Thanks for the help and advice.
