Lump?

I've noticed that my female rat has a lump under one of her armpits, I don't think it is attatched to anything as you can kind of take it in your hand with the skin (if u get what i mean). It is about the size of a rolo (couldn't think of anything else!!) and I was wondering if anyone had any advise. She had a small abcess earlier, not in the same place, but that cleared up fine.

depends on what the lump feels like
is it squishy? that could be infection
a hard lump can be cancer
but you need to get the vet to check it and depending on the age of your rat could be anything

Yes, definitely go to the vet. Unfortunately mammary tumors are very common in female rats... One of my two had one, it was removed and several months later she developed another.
It could also be an abcess or something like that, the only way to find out is a vet check.

It's actually gone, I don't know what it was, I waited a bit and it got smaller and now it's gone, if it comes up again I will definetly take her to the vets, thanks for the advise anyway.
