NEED HELP FAST! Something strange happened to my rat.

what a shock the rat died from having no eye. rats dont just lose their eyes! they dont just fall out like lego pieces! it was torn out or poked and INJURED. check any sticks they might have, look for blood and tissue remnant clues.

I'm pretty sure my other rat killed it. Now that I've looked around the forums, I know next time not to go to Petco.

were they new rats? rats dont normally do that...

My guess it poked it on something... what kind of cage did you have them in? did they get along before? what do you have for cage accessories

if they were your first pet rats/pets im sorry you had such a bad 1st experience.

For future reference please make sure that you are 100% positive that the poster is a troll and then make sure to contact an admin or mod and NOT RESPOND SO RUDELY TO A NEW MEMBER.

Some people do not handle crisis well or may not know enough to understand proper procedure. Also you may want to note post count and realise that a member may be freaking out because they are being moderated and the posts aren't going through fast enough and they are already frustrated and scared. Being tactless doesn't help anyone.

Wow! That's a weird thing to happen. Poor little rat. Do you know what happened? I'm so sorry though. Its so sad.

Now the other rat died... I'm almost sure now that it was a disease.

oh my gosh! im so sorry! could tou take it into the vet anyways and get it tested? like, to see if it can spread or anything?
