Maybe you should get a second vet opinion? I have known and witnessed dogs going into seizures maybe thats what it is. How ever I have neverr heard of giving a dog just plain corn syrup. All that is, is a overload in sugar which I woudln't think would be too good for a dog, unless theres a sugar imbalance (that calls for blood work), but you never know. I know I didn't really help much but I do hope for the best.
