Petunia is sick!

Hey everyone it's been quite a while since I've posted! And unfortunatly I have bad news!

My 7 year old indoor cat Petunia is sick. I noticed she was VERY lethargic! She would take a few steps and just lay down. I brought her water and she would lap it up though! I did bring her to the vet toady and for now they took blood and gave her anti biotics. They said she is dehydrated and has a fever. I have to keep an eye on her for now. they are worried but not too much since she's not jawdence (sp?) I was just wondering if anyone else ever had this issue?? I thought maybe she ate a bad bug or something?? Shes young and usually so active-oh its killing me to see her like this. Her sister is even laying with her and keeping her company at least. Any idea to hold me over till the blood test come in??

If she was dehydrated did they give her subcutaneous fluids. Its so hard when they are sick, they can't tell you where it hurts. Hoping all works out well.

I'm not sure what exactly it was that they gave her- but it was something for the dehydration. She already seems much better, not nearly herself but better. She even went #1 this mporning which made me very happy to see her walking around as well. Hopefully the blood test come back today with answers!!

Blood test came back normal! Could be just a virus, we shall see. She started eating as well-good sign!
