PLEASE answer
if anyone has ever had a hamster die n knoowos wut it looks like would they tell me?? right now i have my hamster of 3 years chichi on my lap and she's limp...doing this breath every 30 seconds n when she does she squeaks and this white foam pours out of her nose.. if she choking?? im pretty sure she's dying and having trouble breathing but i want someones expirenced oppinion..PLEASE asnwer right away

Is it cold?
My hamster used to go limp when it got cold.
Try and warm it up by placing it on a blanket on a hot water bottle and then take it straight to the vet.
Do be careful it does not get to hot.

3 years old, your hammy might be dying. You may want to take it to the vet, but at 3, which is ripe old age for a hamster, she might be getting ready to cross the rainbow bridge.

i had a hamster who died like that once...... i woke up in the middle of the night and i was too late to save him....

I'm really sorry for your loss. As you said she was old. I'm sure she was happy to be with you in her last moments. Let us know if you need any encouragement. That's what we're here for.

thanks guys ^.^ i did try to take real good care of her. my mum got me a bunny named Sabastian to replace her.... and i love him dearly now and spoil him rotten... but im finding it very hard w/ out her

most of my hamsters died in the middle of the night or while i was at school. i am sorry for your loss and i know how you feel x5 (lost 5 hammies!) at least you were /w her when she passed on... I wish you good luck with your new bunny and i hope to talk again sometime.
