Feeding corycats

I have 3 cory catfish, how much should you feed them? I have the algea wafers but when i cleaned my tank to day it was really really gross so i think that i have been feeding them too much algea they can't eat it all. i've been giving one wafer every one to 2 days.

Plus they are in a tank with other fish so they get the left over flakes, worms, and pellets.

I usually fed my cory cats one wafer two or three times a week (I had three also) .

I'd just like to suggest switching to a new food for them. I use the Hikari sinking wafers, not the algae wafers. They seem to like the extra protein and nutrients.
