Fish Plant help plz

As this is my first Tropical tank I need help on what plants I can have. They need to be compatabile with Neon Tetras and Cory Catfish.
I'm going to get an Aqua Glow light which is a medium light.
Tank spces :-
Lenght 60cm
Width 30.5cm
Height 38cm

Also will gravel, rocks and bridges be fine for the bottom?

I have only kept Goldfish, Black Moors and Japanese Rainbow fish in the past.

Thanx.

The tanks just over 70 liters and I'm not sure about the light....it's around 8 to 15 watts tho.
Haven't got the pup yet...does the heater come with the pump? I have only seen a few that do but they were far too big to fit my tank.

Don't worry I haven't got the fish yet....just the tank and sticky on thermomitor and fish net.
Going to get under gravel filter and gravel at the weekend as can only get bits at a time.

Most of them are USA only

I don't know where to get the sand from. All there is in the Aquatic stores round here is gravel...most of it's bright multicoloured or bright yellow, bright green.
They do have some driftwood tho.
If I don't have an UGF will the Cory Catfish do the work instead?

Thanx for the plant ideas.
If I can get a hood for the tank I should be able to get a higher wattage light.

Do you know any good UK sites?

Ah right cool.

I won't bother with the UGF then

Now just to try and drag my fiance to the store (he's the 1 that drives but won't if he can help it )

Do they like Brine shrimp and is it good for them? All my other fish used to devour them and prefered them to flakes but I used the flakes as there main food.

Will do.

It'll be a while yet to save up for the pump tho as all money is going in vet bills for my poorly hammie.

Right I've got some tropical Aquarium gravel and a plastic thing to stop water getting to light and have ordered a lid so when I have that lot in place I can start looking for a better light.

I have also found a pump, filter and heater in 1 that u can change the direction and force of the flow! quite pricy but worth it.

I'll take pics all thru the stages

I agree 150% with RatStalker on everything. 1 suggestion though...add a male betta if you like...they are so personable and interesting! Real pets They are compatible with neons and cories as well

Oh there adorable!

How many can you keep together?

I have a 30gal tank sitting at home empty after my last goldfish died a few weeks ago. Had some Loaches too.
