Guess what I woke up to Monday morning?
Monday morning, 30 minutes before my alarm goes off, I hear this oddd noise and think to myself "wow I cannot believe after living here a year I never heard the garbage man until now" Then i hear Ray Yell, "OMG"
So I jump out of bed and run out into the kitchen/livingroom. Ray is standing in an ever growing lake of water. Apperently our fish tank stand (a tv stand) broke, knocking our 20 gallon tank into the wall, causing it to break.
Ray is standing there saying "ican't believe this is happening" I am like "save the fish" (even though I am noty all about them, i don't wish death to them. So then my extra small apartment became like Deauce Bigalow when he ahs all the fish in different containers.

After working 4 doubles in a row, I had to call off Monday, and run the water sucking sweeper the entire day. Forever and ever and ever. Now we have to go look for a new tank, and stand (a real stand!) The shame of it is, i bought the stand, the tank, lid, filter, everything all new last year. It wasn't even 1 complete year old yet. Unbeliavable. We had to unplug everything right away because of the flood, that is why I just am back on today.
When it rains and pours.
Apperently Ray and Shannon(a boy) had been discussing the night before how bad it would suck if a tank broke. Now I am scared because Ray and I were discussing how it would suck if I went blind because I love to read and be on the computer. Now I am scared I am cursed. Look for news of me being blind tomorrow.

Thanks. Ray's dad is coming over tomorrow night and Friday night (and probably Saturday night) to tear up the carpet and dry underneath, so i will probably be disconnected.
Toirt, Ray is reallly impressed withthe size of your tank. I said 425 gallons and he did not believe me, and made me show him your post. LOL. Boys.

Ewwwwwww!!!!!!!!! So sorry to hear about your tank! Hope all the fishies are allright Breaks/leaks are a real pain in the butt. What size tank are/did you guys end up with?
I have had a few good leaks. I was looking at our nicely planted 55G that held some pride and joy cobalt discus.....the center brace must have been weak or something because the entire front glass shot out of it. Still havent figured out why. Another time I went down to the fish room so excited because the 800G had been filled up the night before. Apparently we missed one area around one of the front windows......800G EVERYWHERE the entire barn was under an inch of water.Even the stalls had water in them....now that was a mess.

All the fish were saved! It was a 20 gallon, we have the fish seperated in 2 ten gallons, some at Mom's some at his Mom's. We have to wait until the carpet thing gets resolved before we get a new tank. It smells so raunchy in here, I am glad I cannot breatyhe through my nose!
