Mr. Shrimp and the Tank Plants

Hehehe... just some random pics I took today to show my best friend... I thought I should post them here too... hope you like them...

Here's the shrimp... he's a handsome guy, isn't he? And he has gotten so big!!! I just love his colors!

These are my new plants (the thin, tall ones)... well.. I've had them for almost a month now... but they are the last ones I bought. This is my first time having acuatic plants, and I'm glad to say that they are doing great! Does anyone know what's the name of this plant? In the petstore the guy couldn't tell me... but I found it pretty, and cheap so I decided to give it a try to see if I could keep it alive (it was the three that you see for around $2) I've been buying cheap plants, I wanna get java moss to cover part of the floor and the driftwood, and a couple more plants... maybe some twisted val, or some anacharis...

This one is a fern I have hanginig on the side of the tank. I took it from the yard, and planted it in the log... It spent a couple of weeks there looking odd, I thought that the plant in the middle was going to die, as all it's leaves dried... and then one day, new leaves were sprouting and now new leaves are sprouting out of most the pieces. I'm so happy with it!

Well... I hope you liked the pics.

Thanks. 8)

He lives alone... cause he started eating the fish. I did further research and asked a few people and results that he's not a ghost shrimp like I was told, but a macrobrachium, which do catch the fish. He's eating shrimp pellets and tetramin (sunking) bottom feeder pellets.
