New tank

We got the new tank set up the last couple of days. We got a 35 gallon hexagon tank. It is super nice. It is bigger then I imagined. We put in fake plants, and our little "mountain" thingie. The fish just came home today.
The Fish
1. 1 Fancy Tailed Goldfish
2. 1 Carnival Never say Die gold fish
3. 2 catfish 1 albino 1 spotted
4. 2 sucker fish
5. 2 mollies
6. 1 black catfish (3 years old)

So far everyone seems content!

They do live forever!!!!!

Christi-after picking up all the fish of the ground from when the tank broke, I am so nervous. I keep looking over thinking how many more gallons 35 is compared to 20......But it really does look nice.

Ha have me around for an hour he'll be dead, Not only can I NOT keep a fish alive, but my dad mocks me about how I killed his goldfish

I walked by the tank and dropped me book, it caused the top to fall half nto the tank... the fish were all FINE, dad fixed it and 2 days later the fish dies... he says I killed him with my book.....

I DID NOT!!!!!!!!!

Yes! Test kits are SOOOOOO important. I had a bit of a nasy crisis myself this week. Havent been doing my usual rigourous maintance on the 800G. So so so busy this week preparing for yesterday and all. My ammonia level was like .75ppm.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My fish didn't act distressed. But they are bigbutted toughies. So I cleaned all of my filters(big job) took out about 300G...dived in and siphoned some "extras" from the bottom. Took out another 150G this morning and all is well. Without my test kits...I NEVER would have known of the problem...but would have done this maintance anyway to compensate for my missings
