New tank setup
The tank did house goldfish, but unfortunately they outgrew the tank, so i rehomed them.
I'm in the process of changing the tank back to a tropical tank. Substrate changed from gravel to sand, and i must say, sand is a mongrel to wash clean *LOL*...but i think it looks good so it was worth it.
I've been purchasing live plants and its starting to come together...though slowly *L* But thats cool....i wont be stocking it fully until its properly cycled (it does have 3 small feeders to assist cycling).
I'm going to stock it with some livebearers (guppies, platys, swordtails), cory cats & bristlenoses.
Just after setup
Around 3 weeks later
I've got to pick up some fertiliser for the plants, either liquid or spikes. And i really need a better quality light.

Nice!!
I would recommend power compact lighting for those plants. I can't remember the name of the one on the left of the bottom picture but I know it doesn't do great under lower lighting. You may want to pick up some Flourish Excel, too, if you can find it.
What size is the tank?

Nice tank. I haven't had a tropical setup in a while. Looking at those picture, I just may have to do that.

I just bought new tank *L*, well i put a deposit on it any way...so it wont arrive for a few weeks yet.
Its a brand new 5ft (313litres). I got it to upgrade my 4ft tank (200litres).
So all this below......(latest pic of the tank)
Will be removed and held while the changeover occurs, looking way forward to the bigger tank, but not the changeover *LOL*
While i'm awaiting the new tanks arrival, i have to get a new heater & i'm hoping to be able to pick up some new rocks for it, spotted some petrified wood at a shop the other day...looked real neat. Also on the lookout for some unusual driftwood i like.
The substrate will vary a bit too in the new one...still sand but i want to mix gravel or something in with it..
Pics to come
The 4ft will then be for sale (i'd love to keep it, but i really have nowhere to put it *L*)
