please help!

alright so we are on our roadtrip from colorado back to arizona. we ended up keeping my betta in a tank, but we lowered the water level, and strapped him into a shoebox without the lid, so he still had oxygen. HOWEVER, there was a freak blizzard, and so his water temperature is very low, and he is very discolored. we have his tank in a warm bath right now, trying to gradually warm it up. my poor little guy has been in every altitude possible today, and his face is very brown and almost looks like its molding...

is there anything i can do for my little guy? he's been fasting, and i can't change his water because the dechlorination stuff is packed [im coming home from college so its under a ton of stuff]

Just try to keep stress to a minimum. I would wrap a blanket around the tank which will both keep heat inside and let him relax.

alright so we made it back to arizona. thankfully, his water warmed up alot from the warm water bath, but it still wasnt as high as it should be. once we got home i did a water change, and increased the temperature a little bit, plus i added all the decor back to his tank. later on i fed him. he's looking pretty good, and his water is warming up since the temp. in our house is higher than in my dorm, but its within the normal temp. he's also regained some color in his fins, but his face doesn't look right still.
