I've been playing with the idea of having a pond after we move, depending where we move to of course, and if the yard is big enough to have one and still give Allie and Tanner enough time room. Anyway, ive got a few questions..
1, well first of all, Whats in your pond? fish plants?
2, to those of you with ponds, how much maitnence do you do? what and how often.. David's old boss had 3 ponds and i think the only maintence that i know of (because we did it for her when she was sick) was once a week she had to unplug the filters, take part of it out and rinse it throughly with the garden hose.. and skim any floating leaves or grass clippings off the top, (and dig the dogs collection of tennis balls out
)
3, What do you do with your fish in the winter? i know some people bring them inside, and some leave them out, how big would your pond have to be to leave them out? or what do you put them in when you bring them in?
