Did you try the bath yet?

Is that bump on both sides? If it's just on one it might be a tumor .

Hmm. It is actually on both sides but more on one side than the other. But I'm starting to wonder if it's a tumor or something because nothing I do seems to help. I tried the bath and it didn't seem to do much other than stress her out - I gave her one in the morning and one before I went to bed. And she's been fasting for awhile with no changes. But she's still acting perfectly normal, swimming around and begging for food like she always has. I think I'm going to try feeding her some pea again and see if that does anything this time. I'm still hopeing it's just a stubborn case of constipation.

Does it maybe look something like this:

That's a betta I had a couple years ago. That picture was taken a week or so before he died and you can see his tumor.

I don't know what to do with her anymore.

I fasted her up until yesterday, yesterday I finally fed her again because she has been going to the bathroom, so I guess it's not constipation. However, she's still the same size.

I tried fasting her, the epsom salt baths, feeding her pea, and nothing has seemed to help. I also took my water to be tested on the suggestion of someone on another forum, but everything was fine with the water.

Could she have some kind of internal tumor or something? It doesn't look exactly like the picture of your betta, Sasami, but I was thinking maybe she could have some kind of tumor on the inside?

I dunno, I'm out of ideas. Unless anyone has any other suggestions of what I should try, I'm just going to keep taking care of her and see what happens. At least for now, she doesn't seem to be in any discomfort.

Yeah, it might very well be a tumor .

The last suggestion I have is to maybe treat her for an internal infection (Maracyn-Two might be a good one to try).

Well, strangly enough, whatever is wrong with her never went away, buut she seems to be doing just fine. I still have no idea why her tummy suddenly started to look so weird, and even after everything I tried it never went back to normal. I decided to just let her be and take care of her like normal and wait and see how she does. She hasen't gotten any worse, and she's still acting normal and eating and doing all those fishy things, so I guess she's ok
