Still working on introducing

hey all
I've had many large aquariums in my life but right now I only have two little fishies that I love to death. I get a lot of people who ask how can you love a fish they don't do anything. Well mine sure do. Bruce my goldfish (a small brown colored fancy fin) is a cannabil for one. He killed of five roomates before I gave up on him. He is a cute little guy though, very responsive to you. I think he just didn't want to share the attention. I also have, as of last night, a red male betta who i named Amp. We're just getting to know each other but i think he is precious. If anyone has tips on the care of bettas please share I have two in the past but both died suddenly much earlier that I think they should have. I worry that i may have done something wrong. As much as I adore them the only experiance I have is trial and error. Anyway that's enough from me for now. Hope to hear form you all soon.

do you know what the general life span is supposed to be?

Goldfish can live up to 25 years, in flawless conditions.

Betta's I think live 2-3 years.

cool then i must be doing ok I was ubnder the impression that bettas lived longer than that thanks bunches hey did you read about the world record for oldest gold fish he's 43 I have the article around here somewhere.

Hi sis again, glad to see the fishies are on here too! So who's gold fish will live longer? I think yours mine both have medical conditions at this point in their lives.
