When can I get new fish?

Just wondering how long I should wait to get new fish after having ich in my tank? The ich has been gone for about a week, maybe a little more. I haven't gotten anymore fish cause I wanted to be sure that the one's left were healthy and that the new ones wouldn't get sick. My tank is so bare and the two fish are lonely. I did a really really good clean of the tank. I took everything out and cleaned them, then I mixed up all the sand to get all the poo and dead fish bits all out. It looks so good now, just very empty.

Since you completely washed the tank out I would wait at least another week so everything can stabilize again .

So do you think I could get some this weekend? I cleaned the tank on Sunday. I didn't remove any water and I only used water to clean everything. Do they make some kind of product that is safe for cleaning fish tank decorations?

Are Ich treatments done? I think you'll be ok, just don't add too many fish at once. Which fish do you have left?

You can use diluted Bleach but in most cases warm water is fine .

I would start with just a couple . I assume you'll be getting more tetras?

It all depends on what they have. The Walmart here doens't carry very many different kinds and the last time I went to the pet store they only had three different kinds and the store's called Fish Nutz, lol. Obviously they're not too nuts about fish.
