You asked for it! The Big ol 55 gallon! LOTS PICS
Thanks for everyone who liked the 35gallon(aka Tetra tank). The 55gallon(what i call The Cichlid tank) has less plants and decor due to the size of the fish but i still think it still looks nice.
Residents:
Keyhole Cichlid breeding pair (see the eggs on the rock?) but there's 6 keyholes in total
Bolivian Ram
Emerald Catfish and Rostrata loach
The king of the tank, my 12 inch plecostomus. I just love his pattern! This big guy I rescued from only a 20gallon tank. He's nice to his tank mates and will come to the top of the tank so i can hand feed him and pet his head. No other fish like him!

That looks about the same size as my coldwater fish tank, my tank is a Clearseal.
You have some lovely fish in there I must say.

I love plecos too, i have another pleco in my 35g.
I do water changes with a syphon every 2 weeks(about 30%) on all my bigger tanks and weekly water changes on my 10g, 5g and betta bowls(1 gallon)also i find keeping live plants really reduces algae(plants use the nitrate that algae feeds off of). I never have to scrub algae off the 55gallon ever. I have hardly any algae in it that i have to feed my big pleco zuchinii, cucumber, and romaine lettuce so he always has a full stomach. He certainly eats alot!
I still have more tanks to show you even!

Thank you. This is the keyholes 4th time breeding, everytime they end up eating the eggs, but maybe one lucky day will happen.
What kind of pleco do you have guppy girl?

Do you have drift wood in your tank? There's many types of drift/bog wood that will release tannins(nothing toxic) into the water and make it seem always tanned or brown looking no matter how clean you keep the tank. My room mates bought different drift wood then me and there tank water is always brown tinted colour. Its mostly that since you do frequent water changes.
Yes another pleco fan. i first did buy white spotted pleco for the 55g then he died for no reason then i ended up rescueing this big guy from a pittyful 20 gallon. My pleco in the 35g was sold to me as another common but he's doesnt resemble one, i think he may actually be gibb.
You have zebra plecos!?! I'm sooo jealous, that's my dream fish. No stores carry them here and if they did they would no doubt be priced at way over $90 each. Hows much did yours cost?
Oh and the name is arabasque i believe.

Beautiful tank! I love all the plants. I'm dying to have a tank of my own.
