Browsing through gumtree.com today looking for some accessories for my new arrival (we're adopting an elderly rat), I came across an advert.
I am getting fed up of negligent owners buying animals on a whim. Anyway, I found a hamster there who is only ten weeks old. The owner hasn't spent enough time with it, so it's not tame yet.
He's a gorgeous chocolate bear
syrian hamster.
I would take him on, but after taking on the rat, I really don't have the space or time to do so.
I don't want to see him abandoned.
I emailed the owner referring her to several websites to help her rehome him but I don't know if she's visited them. She thanked me for my help, but then just asked me if I wanted him (even after stating that I just don't have the space or time to do so.)
