My 80 year old parents in Tampa FL area need homes for 12 outdoor cats
Can anyone help? My parents are in their 80's and have fed and cared for needy cats for many years. The cats have been spayed/neutered, and live outside in the yard. My mom just fell and broke her wrist and hand in five places, so she is totally unable to care for these cats, and my dad is now taking care of my mom 24/7 as she can't do much for herself right now. So my dad, the cat caretaker at this point, needs help. I live 1000 miles away, so I can't do much right now except post this note and hope that someone can help, or tell me where I might find help for them.
There are 12 cats outside - the number has stayed about the same over time, as old cats pass on new young strays arrive and take their place.
My parents live in Apollo Beach, south of Tampa.
