Rescue cat in need of help

First of all, if I am doing something not allowed, or if I am on the wrong forum, I will totally understand if it is taken off.......

I have been managing 2 colonies of feral and stray cats in my neighborhood. About 15 cats in all. They are spayed, neutered, ears clipped, shots given, etc. A rescue group helped me with all that. Things have been working out PERFECT!

There are 2 calico sisters that were abandoned when their elderly owner went into a nursing home. They are tame, loving, and about 10 years old. One of the calicos (Louise) started limping badly. I took her into the vet and he said that she has a tumor on her left front foot and one on the back. She limps all the time. Yesterday I got a good look at the one on her front foot. It's about the size of a grape on her pad. She walks real cautiously and I think it does cause her some pain.

I want to find out if any of you have any ideas how I could raise some money to help with this surgery. I am right now trying to get an estimate on the surgery's cost. I really can't do a bake sale, but I'm thinking about making something that is inexpensive that I could sell. Christmas things or something....I just don't know. Please help me figure out how I can get some money together. My mom is having a yard sale this weekend, and anything that I gave up for the yard sale is going toward Louise............Thanks, Beth
