I am looking for a good home for a 10yr old, MN
Cocker Spaniel. Goes by the name of Cody. Owners wish to put him to sleep. They have given us the rest of today to try and find a home instead. Reason for wanting to PTS is that Cody, since the birth of their children 2 yrs ago, has had aggression issues creep up. He has been allowed to think he is boss and they have done nothing to prevent it. They also have no desire to work with him. Having seen him myself today (not that I am an expert) I think this dog is VERY managable and simply needs a firm hand to set him in his place. I would not recomend he go to a home with young children obviously. This is a good dog that just needs a bit of time spent with him. He is in good health, save some typical Spaniel ears problems. Recently clipped, so no big mats or anything. If anyone is interested please pm me tonight by 6PM. I'm sorry for the short deadline, but atleast it's better then the 5 mins we had originally.
