"This community was started after a realization that there really was no network in place on LiveJournal for those that may wish to help transport animals. A lot of users seemed unaware that there were even networks in place, and once aware of them, seemed eager to help. This is an attempt to give people who both need help and want to help in the endeavor of transporting companion animals from or to fosters, rescues, shelters, forever homes, or anywhere else they need to go a place to stay updated on current cries for help, or to post their own needs for help across the nation." - taken from the
