Transport Help Needed: Orlando, FL - Waverly, NE (June 4-6)
Transport help is needed for 3 ferrets, "Wiley"(10
month old blaze male), "Piper"(10 month old sable
male), and "Ghibli"(10 month old silver mitt male)
from Ferrets-n-Limbo Shelter in Orlando, FL to their
forever home in Waverly, NE. All 3 ferrets are
neutered and UTD on vaccinations (canine distemper and
rabies). They have been ADV tested(neg.). Their
medical/vaccination records will be traveling with
them as well as extra food and water. All 3 are
healthy with no known medical or behavioral issues.
They will be traveling in a medium sized Super Pet
cage measuring 32" x 20" x 21" We're going with a cage
for this run, due to "Wiley" not liking being in a
carrier. Please make sure your vehicle(s) can
accomodate this cage before volunteering  Also,
please make sure your vehicle has functioning air
conditioning if you'd like to participate in this run.
Ferrets do not fare well in temps over 75 degrees and
they have no sweat glands to speak of, and are not
able to cool off the way cats and dogs do.

doing any long distance holiday traveling that way
next weekend and would be willing to give these guys a
ride, let me know. We also have "Pogo" (from a
previous transport that fell through), that will be
needing a ride from IL to SD, so if anyone is
traveling that way, please contact me..details will be
sent on request as well as a separate transport need
posted for that.

The transport for the 3 ferrets, Wiley, Piper, and
Ghibli, from Ferrets-n-Limbo Shelter in Orlando, FL to
their forever home in Waverly, NE has been filled!!!
The kids are already on the road and should arrive at
their new home sometime on Sunday Thank you to the
wonderful volunteers that made this happen..A big
thank you to Ruth, Kate & Sandy, Tea', Toni,
Stephanie, Amanda, Lori, Jean, Chris R., Chris M, and
Kris!!
And thank you to everyone who volunteered to help and
crossposted to help get the word out. You are all
greatly appreciated!
