:bfly: Well to my surprise i had put Delilahs rabbit in her cage for her befour i went into town and when i got back half hr later Cassie came to the door as i was walking in and said she was worried about big D because she was acting wierd.. Right away i ran to her cage thinkin something was wrong and sure enough she was eatting dinner backwards.. So it looked like she was havin a prob with the prey but she was ok and sure enough got it down.. I grabed the cam and took some pics... Here she is working on the rump and back legs..

*chills* Ok now for some reason I didn't have those chills on the other pics, but this one sure did!! Believe it or not, but I actually have a fear of snakes, but I can tolerate looking at them and your pics are always unique from what's seen on t.v (steve Irwin). I gotta ask why backwards I thought it was always head first. I don't reckon you can measure how wide her jaw stretches while she is eating? Just curious. How long does it take for her stretched out skin to get back down to size?

 Brenda, i supose sometime in the future i can try to messure her jaw when shes eatting, that would be something eh?? Anyways her skin goes back to normal usualy over night.. Yes they are supose to always eat from the head of the prey and not the rear, sometimes they just do that and with a large rabbit like that it can be alittle hard going backwards.. And as for Steve Erwin well alot of the TV people in them shows not only try to educate but also try to scare ya to sometimes into not messin with these animals and alot of times i have seen them handling or working with tarantulas that they say are deadly or can really harm you when indeed they wont and arent deadly..
SpottyPoo, sorry about that but its there natural way of living, the rabbit was dead way befour i got it so no i didnt kill it..

Lizgirl will become famous soon enough
OMG!!! Now those are some pics! She is amazing. I feel comfortable and safe here on the other side of my computer screen. I might be a tad squeamish if I were witnessing this in person. Thanks for sharing though.
