feeding help

hi im new here and i might get a ball python or a cornsnake i was wondering if they eat anything else besides mice

Ball pythons and corn snakes are rodent eaters, mice or rats are really the only feasible option for them. There are numerous good frozen feeder suppliers, all you have to do is thaw them out and shake them in front of the snake... but perhaps a snake is not a good option if feeding rodents is beyond your comfort level. Its certainly not for everyone.

There are some species, like the rough green snake, that eat crickets - but don't get nearly as large as ball pythons or corn snakes. Or perhaps a garter snake that can eat fish?

thank u both for your help turns out i found these "snake stake sausages" that are made of mice so my mom dosnt mind a bout them

They're not made of mice, they're made of random meat biproducts and cost about 5 times as much as quality frozen mice. Also, the largest size I've seen is adult mouse sized, most adult ball pythons should really have larger meals than that. Would work for a corn snake though.
