How my tank is set up .:NEW PICTURES:.
Corn Snake Tank
First some pictures, of the inhabitant of the tank
Okay, here’s the tank before
And the tank now
How to set up a corn snake tank
When your setting up for tank for your corn snake, make sure the tank is big enough, but not too big that your snake will feel too out in the open.
Your going to need to heat your tank, the best way to heat you tank is to use an under tank heater
Put the under tank heater on one side of the tank, make sure its installed correctly – they usually just stick on - and its not going to go too hot for your snake
I put a cheap glass cutting board I got from the dollar store over the area with the heat pad, this just keeps her from actually touching the glass that’s in contact with the heat pad, the board still gets hot so she can stay nice and warm
Next your going to need a substrate, I personally use one of two types – coconut fiber and aspen

The 2 types I use

Coconut Fiber

Aspen

I’m going to use aspen for this one.

It’s a lot I know but she likes it deep
Spread it out and pack it down a little and it should look something like this
As for adding to the tank and decorating, your going to need at least 2 hides (I use 3), a water bowl, some climbing branches, and maybe some plants (live or fake)

You can use clean rocks and tile pieces too

Exo-Terra Cave, is one of the hides I will be using in the tank (snake included)

When you buy it, it comes with a bag of moss

All three hides, the one on the right is a big rock with a piece of bark

Add some climbing branches

Some plants and a water bowl

Put your cover on and your Done!!
If you actually read all that , I just wrote this because I have nothing to do

Thanks everyone!
I was told she's a female by the person I got her from (she was a breeder >the person not the snake< so I'm going with shes a female)

wow thats amazing because if you wanted to breed, your female would produce beautiful offspring.
You can tell if its a female by tail length. Find her butt, and if the tail after the rear is very long, its a male, if its short, female

ah, yeah you would have to purchase an incubator and make sure its the right time or the snakes could kill eachother. I've had it happened to me before when i worked at a pet store that bred their own animals, and well, we didnt get the right time, the female corn snake killed and ate the male... it wasnt pleasant

That is a great set up! I have to get some plants in out tank! She doesn't like a alot of aspen in her tank! We have a ball python about 2 years old! She is just the best snake (I am terrifed of snakes! I only like her HAHAHA) She has a hide a rock and a water bowl but she doesn't really come out of the rock until we turn the day light off and light one! I need to get her some plants!
Do you have problems with mites using real plants? We had a large piece of tree branch in there and she got mites and it took us forever to get rid of them! She didn't eat for about 2 months (We tried but she just wouldn't eat them) b/c of her mites! She was miserable with them!
