yeah i used to have monitor lizards AND big snakes. i always fed frozen, but i had one monitor that would only eat live food. actually, thats how i got started with loving rodents and the pets i have now.
anyway!!
my fav snake is probably a carpet python, or even a rosie boa. i had a ball python and he was great. he slept in my shirt alot. and we went on car rides and he would ride up on the dash to get some sun. he was GREAT! i would take him outside and let him slither around (secure area of course) and he loved to rest his head on my lips...
geez i miss him!

Thats another snake I would love, a ball python! But knowing me...I will just get a corn...at least for now...

I know someone who has a python and he knows when you are sad or feeling down and will actually curl up with you to try and make you feel better, believe it or not! Thats so cute! And people think reptiles are mean or dumb...

What happened to your snakes and lizards??

i moved 6 times during three months! all that moving was awful for them and alot of landlords would allow. i gave them to a freind of my dads. he is great with them! he has 6 monitor lizards (not including the 2 he got from me) and many many snakes. he has a ton of exotic things. and 8 kids to help care for them of course!
geez i miss thos guys. i am sooo getting another montior lizard in the future and perhaps a snake some other time

snakes are great if you can afford them. I had a burmease when i was still in highschool but couldnt find work so I had to give it away because I couldnt feed her. Now I have a collection of rodents so snakes are out of the ?
