There are several snakes that can open their mouths wide enough to swallow an adult human, Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Pythons, Anacondas. It would take them a while to get past the shoulders but it can be done. I've seen 5 foot boas eat 8 pound rabbits at my work. So a 25 foot Retic wouldn't have too much trouble.

a snake that could eat a human would at least have to be over 15ft

STOP impaction and bacterial infections in leopard geckos and bearded dragons!! it can be prevented! use solid substrates like tile, newspaper, slate, shelfliner, newspaper,or reptile carpet...save a reptiles life! there may only be a 10-50 percent chance of them getting inpacted but why take that chance??????

Totally agree with you as rumours and myths still rule. A very large constrictor can spoil your day but is unlikely to be able to eat an adult human due to the shoulders.
