Green Iguanas In My Backyard!! (pictures)
Hello all...
Today I went out to my backyard to feed Charlotte and Valentina (dogs). Charlotte, who usually likes to jump on me, kept running to the backyard and cry at something... I went to investigate and right there on top of the fence was a huge huge huge green iguana. I went back in, took my camera and went back and took the picture. I was at a distance of around 5 feet from her. 8)
Now... when I was taking this one, I heard some branches on my neighbors backyard move. I looked and guess what? Another one! This one was at about 20-30 feet from me. 8)
I thought you would like to see these pictures. hehe

Yeah, it's warm all year round here...
Green iguanas are native of latin america, if I'm not mistaken... I'm sure that they are not native from here, but a few years ago there was an iguana fever in which a lot of people bought the baby iguanas only to release them when they got bored of them or they got too big for the 10g tank they had them in. So, now we have a big population of feral green iguanas.

I wish I lived in an area where I could find green iguanas in my backyard... Right now it's either 2ft of snow, or 2ft of ice (water main broke) with -40 temps!
