iguana's are not like other animals, they don't chew on things ever, but they will go into hides and are known for eatting things like money and then have to have surgery... and e-vets on animal plannet says they have more iguana's that eat red thong underwear and that is the most common iguana eatting surgery they do. hehe.. i don't let him free roam any more, too many places for him to go and get stepped on he has his own room so i let him out in there and paint or read or sit and play with him.. rather i sit and talk and he ignores me walks around and uses me as a chair.
I would compare him most to a bunny. He's cute, not cuddly. he likes to sit on you and get pets when he wants to not when you do, and he's got sharp toes. but he doesn't chew on anything, he doesn't dig up carpet, he doesn't make noise, and needs alot of room.
