You mean he's still growing?! He looks gorgeous. Is he happy to be held or does he prefer to potter around by himself? Iguana's do look slightly prehistoric to me, in a good way.

Oh iguanas can get HUGE. My guess is that Kermit probably isn't too old? They can live to be 20 or older, and grow to be around 7 - 8 feet!
I found this picture online, it's not of my old iguana, just so you know!

Aww! Kermit you are growing nicely!!
Yes Iguana's get VERY large, that is why most ppl end up getting rid of them if they didnt do their research is b/c of the size. sad really.
But Kermit looks amazingly happy in his home HUGS FOR KERMIT!

I've had him for a year and 4ish months. I'm guessing he's about a year and a half old now, when i got him he was 3.5 inches snout to vent and about 10 inches total, now he is 10 inches snout to vent and about 28 inches with tail. But he did have some problems with his tail and he lost about a half inch of it a while back.
He likes to be held i think but prefers walking around and being petted, but he loves riding around on my shoulder when i do the dishes or something, and loves loves loves to sit on the back of my lazyboy rocking chair and watch tv.
He tries and tries to get out of his cage, but when he does get out he just wants to go up his cage and sit on top. I think he likes the idea of just being free hehe.
I'm slowly getting him to be a free roaming iguana.

i actually don't think they are as hard as some make them out to be. some days all you have to do is feed them and mist them every once and a while, mine has a timer on his light and always has 2 heat lamps on.. so thats it for the day. But most days he gets to come out and take a bath and walk around and things and they can be aggressive and they do have insanely sharp nails to cut. they aren't for everyone but they aren't the most difficult of pets i don't think.
