leopard geckos as pets

As popular as leopard geckos are I dont think they make good pets. Yes you can hold them and that, but they are noctunernal and even at night dont often come out. Ive owned six, and this is my findings. They are often hidding. Usually slow at moving around, and well... just arnt as much fun as you would think. If you want a lizard I say go with something else!

Thanks for your opintion based on experience. I have never owned a leopard gecko, so I wouldn't know. I think people may enjoy them if they are interested in breeding and getting a special look.

my leopard gecko isnt like that. he seems to allways be up laying on top of his hide log. and he has lots of hiding spaces. he will eat from my hand, watch tv with me, and allow little kids to hold him. in my opinion he is the best lizard to have. exspecailly for beginners.
