I am not familiar with Agamas, however I will share the information that I have find and links that should be helpful.
It appears that agamas are newer to the
pet trade and not widely studied yet. Many websites give a basic overview of needs.

Most suggest that you do research in recent magazines since they are the most up-to-date with their information. At least that is what we hope. You might be able to check out these magazines from your local library. The issues #'s I've listed are ones that specifically discuss Starre Agamas.

One website described the breed as timid in the wild, but agreeable and tame in captivity. It also said that one in particular would perform a morning ritual to be fed and did not repeat the ritual again until the next morning. This site gave references to other materials you might want to investigate further.
