Photos! Tiny will eat you...

New pictures of my monster of a crested gecko, Tiny. If you haven't already read my post entitled 'Crested Gecko' go read it so you'll know more about her.

Here the pictures

Sitting on my hand. I have small-ish hands so you can kind of gauge her size.

I got a night glo bulb so I could see her with out disturbing her with a normal light. It makes the plants red and her glow.


Her vivarium. I made a feeding platform and the bowl under her has a few mealworms. So far she has no interest in them.

She's very cute . When my Crested was a baby, he had no interest at all in insects. But oddly enough, as he grew older he started liking them. Now he'll eat pretty much anything I hand him (he fails at hunting on his own, haha--after only one try he'll get discouraged and give up).

Hehe, your crested would die in the wild :p

You will want to add more cover, and cover 3 sides with something for more hiding spots and make it less stressed. She is a cutie. You could call her Tiny G.

Do you know if they will eat wax worms, silkworms,butter worms etc?

Yes. I know she needs more cover. I have been trying to get some bamboo but no one seems to sell any around her.

My Crested has eaten all of the following: crickets, wingless fruit flies, waxworms, mealworms, silkworms, and phoenix worms. But most of them are treats that I don't give him very often.

My PetSmart here has 2 adult females, but they are $199.99 so they are going to be there for a while.

Some crazy prices on crested geckos.

I saw some at the expo for almost $300.00 but I didn't get a good look at the, as everyone was crowding around them and I was busy trying to pick one out for my self.

Cute! I love crested's sticky fingers.The very first crestie I met actually leaped on to my shoulder from the guy that was holding him.I fell in love with them that moment!

That's what Tiny did, exept she went up my sleeve. I just had to have her, and luckily my mom told me to pick one out.

Their feet are so adorable and their skin is so soft!
