Trevor feeding Camille by hand

Camille has problems eating and sometimes gets too skinny. When she gets this way, we feed her baby food with a syringe. Trevor does it really well and looks really cute while doing it. Don't you agree?

Camille is 4 years old. In her second year we hibernated the pair and when they came out they mated. Being inexperienced breeders we didn't know what to expect. We read up on it and put a hide box in the cage. She had the habit of going in the hide box and covering the entrance with sand. Then she wouldn't come out. Regularly we would taker her out to make sure she was eating. One day she stayed in there all day. When my husband checked in the evening, she was large with eggs, super skinny and dehydrated. That is when we first started feeding her with a syringe. She recovered and did fine until after we hybernated them again. Then she caught what appeared to be a cold. Again we fed her with a syringe. We didn't hybernate them this year but she doesn't seem to have the energy to chase after crickets. I've tried giant and super worms, but she just nibbles at them without biting them. Any food suggestions would be welcome. They rarely eat anything that doesn't move on its own.

Thanks for the advice Toirt. We have tried wax worms, but any insects she eats seem to be coming back up. What is Crypto and how would she get it?
