candyraver will become famous soon enough

Ugh,WHY...WHY?? (shed problem,read please)

I have 2 leopard geckos.Everything all perfect habitat wise, this is the 2nd time my geckos shed since I had them.Again,no problems.Shed came off nicely,I checked them to make sure everything was off in case they end up losing a toe or something.
Again,all perfect.
Then I noticed on my male, one of his "eyelids" something wasn't perfect, part of it is off!I don't mean completely gone& apart from that he's doing fine...but will it go back to normal?
He's able to close his eye& everything,don't think he can't close his eye It's just,like I said,
a part got caught in shed
& That upsets me since I'm paranoid.
*sigh*
Help?

Tara- that is what I thought happened with my gecko too.
When I came back home it's like it grew back& I don't see anything wrong with his eyelid at all now...maybe it really was just a bit of dead skin& his eyelid wasn't tore after all?
I don't think I ever been so worried in my life over something!!
Thank you so much for replying& I'm glad your water dragon looked much better after I want a water dragon someday

Lisa- Thank you SO much for finding me the vet's email address!!!
It meant a lot to me More than you can ever know.I got the address saved now, never know when i'll need the vet again& e-mail is much more convient for me than the phone is!
He is the rodent vet too right?
Or just herp& exotic?

both !!

I just wanted to say I'm glad it was nothing serious!

I would've freaked out too. I still sometimes freak out when my hermit crab molts, lol.

Your very welcome Melissa! I am glad I could help.I am also glad that your gecko is doing alot better and it was nothing.Must of been a bit of leftover shed.

Dr.D does reptiles, exotics and rodents. However there is another vet that I take my rats to,which is really good.Actually I trust her a bit more then Dr.D with my rats.

Ah,cool.
I need to get in contact with a good rodent vet when I take in more ratties.
I want to get boy rats neutered& well,it's always good to know a good vet anyway, you never know!
It really was just a bit of leftover skin,I almost had an heart attack...someday i'll eventually have that heart attack I always almost haves eh Lis?

Stephanie - I know what it's like when hermit crabs molt,it can be unnerving !
Addicting little crabs though aren't they?

The problem was solved =D
It was just a part of dead skin that looked weird,
there was nothing wrong at all,I just wasn't used to geckos at that point
