A VERY proud parent - my boy's milestone... - Paw Talk

My little boy, Rascal (the dog) is turning one year old on the 18th. Till this day, he pees like a girl dog by squatting. HOWEVER, tonight was a big surprise to us when we took both our dogs for a walk. My boyfriend and I were chit chatting and all of a sudden we see Rascal sniff a tree and lift his leg!!!!! We felt like proud parents and that our little boy is finally growing up. lol. I know it's silly, but since these are our children (until we have human children) and it feels like a big milestone. I wanted to share this proud moment with everyone on here.

UPDATE:

Last night we took our dogs for a walk and he did his squatting pee in our front lawn, and for quite a long time.

BUT...

When we got to the tree at the end of the street he marked last time, he went up to it and for a second or two LIFTED HIS LEG again to mark it! Two nights in a row! It looks so cute to see such a tiny dog do this.

Awww Rascal is sooo cute. But tell Rascal my dog Sam said he could cruise the block with him and the other big dogs on the block any time. Sam's over 80lbs but I would bet any amount of money Rascal is more brave than he is, but that will just be a little secret between mother and son, lol. Just FYI my husband and I have been married 6 years and have no two-legged children either, just four legged, lol. But they are definitely our babies.

Hahah, my dog would probably LOVE the company of your dog. He loves dogs and is very playful. He jumps all over them and does silly things.

It's great to have four-legged kids! I love them to death.
