Agility

Is anyone here in Agility? or Flyball?

One of my dogs used to be in Beginning Agility, but never liked it that much.

I have a beagle and a shepherd/dalmation... my beagle could probably do it, but he'd trip over his ears and couldn't keep his nose off the ground long enough... and my shepherd/dalmation has the attentions span of a gnat, she couldn't pull off agility, but she is GREAT at frisbee.

We use a agility course where I work. But it is not for competition. We use the course to gain self confidence in the dogs, and it is amazing how they really start to come around. If they are shy , they tend to start coming out and gaining confidence. They just lap up all the positive attention. We also use agility for the security dogs. They keep in shape and love all the positive praise.

Yep! Our Rotty is the king of agilty!(not really) But he loves it, our Mastiff loves to play fetch but you usually dont want the ball after shes had it (her nick name is Goober). Tried to get Max(Berner) into some kind of sport but he just isnt into it, however he will swim any chance he gets

That is awesome. Having a service dog is so rewarding. Good luck to you and Max
