Attn: Sara (and anyone else wanting to adopt a corgi)

I found a link for you. Apparently, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America has a rescue committee that works to try and help match up shelter corgis with people looking for one. The site has a list of members and says that if you are looking to adopt a corgi, you can email the member nearest you and they will help you find a corgi in need of a home.

I thought I'd pass it on in case you were interested. Here's the link:

Lesson: Remember to take time to think about what's truly important. Oh, and give your pets a hug.

I really like this guy; he's a cutie. I was searching their website last night and it says that they require a fenced yard for dogs over 25 pounds (or that will be over 25 when full grown). Corgis are generally 25 to 27, so maybe he'll be exactly 25 and they won't worry about the fenced yard? It says he's good with kids, so they can't tell you that they won't adopt him to a family with children.

I also like this guy, but I don't like the shelter. *sticks out tongue*. I didn't see anything about a fence, but it says that they require you to set up an interview and have a home visit, and be approved for adoption, before they'll let you visit with the dog you are interested in. How do you know for sure if you want that particular dog until you get to meet him/her and see his/her personality? Anyways, since he's cute, here's the link for you to drool over.

Sorry, I'll stop now. You already check petfinder on your own. I just love my corgi so much that I can't help but try and help you find one.
